Music Teachers: 197
Qualifications: The candidate must have
i) A Pass in SSC. AND
ii) Diploma in Indian Music from an Institution recognized by UGC. OR
A Degree in Indian Music from an Institution recognized by UGC. OR
4-Years Certificate course with Diploma in Light Music from an Institution recognized by UGC. OR
MA Folk Arts / Master of performing Arts from an Institution recognized by UGC. OR
A Bachelor’s Degree AND Diploma in Classical Music (Carnatic/Hindustani Music) from an Institution recognised by UGC.
Age (As on 01/07/17): 44 years
Scale of Pay: Rs.21,230 - 63,010/-
Age limit(As on 01/07/17): 44 years
Scale of Pay: Rs.28,940 - 78,910/-
Fee details: Rs.200/- towards Online Application Processing Fee.
Examination Fee: Rs.120/-. SC, ST, BC, PH and Unemployed applicants in the age group of 18 to 44 years (They have to submit declaration at an appropriate time to the Commission that they are unemployed) are exempted from payment of examination fee.
Scheme of Examination:
General Studies and Music and Music Education (200 questions, 200 marks and 180 minutes)
