Goa Public Service Commission Latest Jobs Recruitment Notification for Associate Professor, Lecturer, Medical Officer and Jr. Physician: Goa Public Service Commission invites applications to recruit the following jobs.
Jobs Details:
1. Associate Professor (Neurology): 01
Qualification: The candidate must have i). Recognised medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Act No. 102 of 1956). Holders of qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Act No. 102 of 1956). ii). Post graduate degree or equivalent in the concerned super-speciality or equivalent. iii). At least four years teaching/research experience in a recognised Medical College/ Teaching Institution after obtaining the qualifying degree of Doctorate of Medicine (D.M.)/Master of Chirurgiae (M.Ch.). iv). Knowledge of Konkani.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years
2. Lecturer in Paediatrics: 01
Qualifications: The candidate must have i). Recognised Medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 13 (3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. ii). Post Graduate degree qualification in the speciality concerned or equivalent. iii). At least 3 years teaching experience in the concerned speciality as Senior Resident/ Registrar/ Tutor/ Demonstrator in a Medical College/Teaching Institution. iv). Knowledge of Konkani.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years
3. Junior Physician: 02
Qualification: The candidate must have i). Recognised Medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. ii). Post-graduate degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in the speciality concerned. iii). In case of Diploma holders, work in responsible position connected with the speciality concerned for 2 years after post-graduation Diploma. iv). Knowledge of Konkani.

4. Medical Officer: 37
Qualification: The candidate must have i). Recognised Medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 18 (3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 195 6 or a degree of Goa Medical School (Medico-Cirurgiao). ii). Completion of compulsory rotating internship. iii). Knowledge of Konkani.

5. Lecturers:
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery: 01
Oral Pathology and Microbiology: 01
Periodontology: 01
Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge: 01
Oral Medicine and Radiology: 01
Qualification: The candidate must have i). Qualification included in Part I or Part II of the Schedule to the Dentists Act, 1948 (16 of 194 8). ii). Post-Graduate qualification in Dentistry i.e. Master of Dental Surgery in concerned speciality/subject from a recognized institution or equivalent. iii). Should be registered with Dental Council. iv). Knowledge of Konkani.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 42 years
6. Lecturer (Anaesthetist): 01
Qualification: The candidate must have i). MBBS from a recognised Medical College. ii). Post Graduation (MD) in Anaesthesia from a recognised Institution or equivalent. iii). Should be registered with the Medical Council of India. iv). Knowledge of Konkani.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 42 years
7. Lecturer (Psychiatry): 01
Qualification: The candidate must have i). Recognised Medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 13 (3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. ii). Post Graduate degree qualification in the speciality concerned or equivalent. iii).
