Surat Municipal Corporation Latest Jobs Recruitment Notification for Project Coordinator, Town Planning Specialist, Project/ Engineering Specialist: Surat Municipal Corporation invites applications to recruit the following jobs.
Jobs Details:
1. Project Coordinator: 01
Qualification: The candidate must have i). Senior Engineer/Town planner with at least 5-10 y ears experience in a managerial position in a large municipality/PSU in the area of township planning lay-out designing etc. ii). Experience in slum development and local infrastructure, including in-situ slum development. iii). Strong communication and computer skills. Any earlier involvement with JNNURM will be added advantage.
2. Lively hoods Development Specialist: 01
Qualification: The candidate must have i). Degree in Sociology/ Social Work/ Communication. ii). 5-10 years experience in a responsible position in issues relating to urban poor/slum dwellers. iii). Experience in designing and conducting socio economic surveys/ social development projects in the field of education, health, community mobilization, poverty alleviation, monitoring evaluation etc. iv). Any earlier involvement with JnNURM will be added advantage.
3. Research and Training Coordinator: 01
Qualification: The candidate must have i). Master degree in Social Science/ Economics/ Statistics/ Management with experience of research in areas related to urban poor. ii). Coordination skills, Ability to work in a team with other professionals. iii). Experience in dealing with State Government/ Local Bodies/ Resource Centers/ NGO's/ communities. iv). Any experience in computers will be added advantage.
4. Town Planning Specialist: 01
Qualification: The candidate must have Bachelor degree in Planning with specialization in Urban Planning.
5. Project/ Engineering Specialist: 01
Qualification: Bachelor degree in Engineering with specialization in public health engineering.
6. Social Development Specialist: 01
Qualification: The candidate must have Bachelor degree in Social Sciences.
