Staff Selection Commission Latest Job Notification 2017 details
1. Jr. Translator in Central Secretariat Official Language Service
2. Jr. Translator in M/o Railways (Railway Board)
3. Jr. Translator in Armed Forces Headquarters
4. Jr. Translator/ Jr. Hindi Translator in subordinate offices
Qualification (As on 01/01/17): The candidate must have
Master’s degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; OR
Master’s degree in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; OR
Master’s degree in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of a examination at the degree level; OR
Master’s degree in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; OR
Master’s Degree in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level. AND
Recognised Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or two years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government Office, including Government of India Undertaking.
5. Sr. Hindi Translator in various Central Government Ministries/ Departments/ Offices
Qualification (As on 01/01/17): The candidate must have
Master’s degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; OR
Master’s degree in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; OR
Master’s degree in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of a examination at the degree level; OR
Master’s degree in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; OR
Master’s Degree in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level. AND
Recognised Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or three years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government Office, including Government of India Undertaking.
6. Jr. Translator/ Jr. Hindi Translator in Subordinate Offices
Qualification (As on 01/01/17): The candidate must have Master’s degree in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level, Or Bachelor’s degree with Hindi and English as main subjects (which includes the term compulsory and elective).
7. Hindi Pradhyapak in Central Hindi Training Institute
Qualification (As on 01/01/17): The candidate must have
Bachelor’s degree in Hindi with English as one of the subject at degree level either as compulsory or optional plus Master’s degree in any subject plus Bachelor of Education. OR
Bachelor’s degree in any subject plus Master’s degree in Hindi with English as one of the subjects at degree level either as compulsory or optional plus Bachelor of Education.
Age Limit (As on 01/01/17): 30 years
Application Fee: Rs.100/-. Women candidates and candidates belonging to SC, ST, Persons with disability and Ex-servicemen candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
